Bibliography
Author's note
The information, opinions, and conclusions that I have presented in Clear > Concise > Compelling were developed over a 20-year period between 1987 and 2006. The contents of many dictionaries including my beloved Random House Dictionary of the English Language (second edition, unabridged) and other reference books will have influenced the material that finally made it into the published manuscript.
I have chosen not to list any dictionaries here, but I have been unable to list many reference books because I simply cannot remember them all (I was delving into this subject long before I committed to actually write a book). However, I will add to this list whenever memory or happenstance aids me.
